Secret Cat Cult

The premise is that the cats have been busy. The set gives you six robed figures, a small altar, and one bird, packed in a box drawn like a basement ritual. The figures are a little over an inch tall, so this is a shelf scene rather than a toy that gets played with on the floor. Cat owners already tell this joke about their own animals. The set just makes the joke physical and small enough to gift without asking what kind of cat someone has. Archie McPhee files it under popular and white elephant, which matches how it unwraps: the box art does half the work before the figures come out. Small parts. Not a children's toy, and not a comment on anyone's actual beliefs.
