This sits in the same family as the pickle and shrimp lights already in the catalog, and it is the one that works outside December. Rain frogs are round, grumpy-looking animals, and ten of them standing in a row on a wire look like a small, unimpressed audience. Battery power matters more than it sounds: no outlet means the string can go on a bookshelf, a headboard, a mirror or a desk without an extension cord. The light is warm white, so it reads as decoration rather than a toy. As a gift it covers two occasions at once, a Christmas light string in December and a frog object the rest of the year, which is why it fits a Secret Santa where you do not know how festive the recipient is.
